Competition Event Details
Sunday, August 15, 2026 at Stanford University
The Youth Business Venture Competition is an entrepreneurship competition where high school students pitch innovative business ideas to professionals, investors, and industry leaders. After submitting an online application, the top 15 teams are selected to compete live at Stanford University for cash prizes, mentorship, and networking opportunities.

Room: 4th Floor
The room is located on the fourth floor near the elevator lobby. Forbes Café is located on the ground floor of the building.
Check-In: 11:45 AM – 12:15 PM
Registration Desk on 4th Floor. All participants must bring a student ID or proof of identification. Guests must arrive with their team to enter and will be issued wristbands and name tags.
Finalist Briefing: 12:15 PM
Review of event procedures, presentation order, microphone use, timing, and Q&A format.
Program Begins: 1:00 PM Sharp
All participants and guests must be seated before this time.
Multiple parking options available, 2–3 minute walk from the Jen-Hsun Huang Engineering Center:
- Primary garage (closest option)
- Secondary parking garage
A parking map and wayfinding guide are available with your confirmation materials.
Format: 5–6 minute pitch followed by 2–3 minute Q&A with judges
Materials Provided: Projector, microphones, and clicker
Slide Deck Deadline: Must be uploaded through Acceptance Confirmation Form before the event
Timing: Time will be closely monitored with visible time signs
Formal Business Attire Required
For Men:
Suit, dress shirt, and dress shoes. Tie recommended.
For Women:
Suit, professional dress, or equivalent attire.
Not Permitted: Jeans, sneakers, casual t-shirts, or other casual clothing
Guest Allowance: Up to 2 guests per team (ages 13+)
Registration Deadline: Sunday, June 14, 2026, at 11:59 PM PST
Entry Fee: $75 per guest (student finalists have free entry)
Check-In: Guests must arrive with their team at check-in and will be issued wristbands and name tags
- Please silence phones and keep them put away during presentations
- We have a professional media team capturing photos, so please do not take pictures or videos
- Please avoid talking while presentations are happening
- Thank you for helping us maintain a respectful and professional environment for all participants and guests
Hospitality: Light snacks and drinks will be available throughout the afternoon
Meal Note: Please plan to have lunch before the event
Break Time: Short breaks between pitch blocks
Networking: 4:30–5:00 PM judges in deliberations. Outdoor networking area adjacent to venue remains open throughout the day.
- All team members are expected to attend in full
- Notify organizers immediately if someone cannot attend
- A professional media team will cover the event
- Official photos and recordings will be shared afterwards
- Each student will receive a physical certificate on event day
