Application Requirements

Here's everything you'll need to complete your YBVC 2026 application. We recommend preparing these materials before starting.

Student Information
  • Full name and email for each team member
  • School/University name
  • Expected graduation year
  • Brief background and role in team
Business Idea
  • 14-word idea summary
  • Problem description — up to 250 characters (what issue are you solving?)
  • Solution description — up to 250 characters (how does your venture address it?)
Pitch Deck (PDF)
  • 5–10 slides recommended
  • PDF format only
  • Maximum file size: 10MB
  • Include: problem, solution, market, team, traction (if any)
Pitch Video
  • Maximum 10 minutes
  • YouTube, Vimeo, or Google Drive link preferred
  • Introduce your team and pitch your idea
  • Show your passion and understanding of the problem

Additional Information

Agreements

You'll need to agree to our code of conduct, media release, and confirm work originality.

Parent Permission

If any team member is under 18, you must confirm parent/guardian permission.

Save & Resume

You can save your application as a draft and return to complete it later.
